Benromach Distillery – Traditional Speyside Whisky with a Unique Character
Benromach is a small, traditional Scotch whisky distillery located on the outskirts of Forres, in the Speyside region of Scotland. Originally established in 1898, Benromach was revived in 1998 by Gordon & MacPhail, a family-owned independent bottler with over a century of whisky expertise.
Benromach stands out for its handcrafted approach – every drop is made by a small team of distillers without the use of automation, ensuring quality and character in every bottle. Unlike many Speyside whiskies, Benromach features a subtle smoky note, created by using lightly peated barley, offering a unique balance of fruit, malt, and gentle smoke.
The distillery produces a range of single malts, including the Benromach 10 Year Old, 15 Year Old, Organic, and limited edition expressions that reflect traditional methods and local ingredients.
Benromach embodies the spirit of Speyside, but with a twist – a classic whisky made with time-honored craftsmanship and a distinctive touch of smoke.
