We have collaborated with Shinanoya to launch the Splendid Creature Series, inspired by the six legendary Eastern divine beasts: Azure Dragon Vermilion Bird White Tiger Golden Pixiu Black Tortoise, and Radiant Qilin
, each symbolizing blessings and prosperity.
The Azure Dragon represents the power of nature, Vermilion Bird signifies fire and life, White Tiger embodies strength and protection, Golden Pixiu brings wealth, Black Tortoise carries resilience and wisdom, while Raidiant Qilin stands for auspiciousness and nobility.
The Splendid Creature Series features rare single cask whiskies aged 20 to 30 years, blending the imagery of divine beasts with exceptional craftsmanship. This collection showcases unique flavors and cultural depth, offering more than just a bottle of whisky—it’s a harmonious feast for the senses and the spirit.

The Azure Dragon belongs to the wood element in the Five Elements theory.
It symbolizes spring and represents the eastern direction.
The illustration aims to convey the theme of renewal, as winter fades and dawn rises, heralding the return of spring and the revival of all life. The Azure Dragon emerges from the earth, while fresh buds and vibrant flowers break through the soil and stones.

Laphroaig Distillery is located on the stunning coast of the Isle of Islay in Scotland. Established in 1815, it has over two centuries of history. Aroma: Dried plum, damp forest, sweetness, roasted rosemary, peat smoke, hints of saltiness, kombu, bonito broth, scallop candy, green apple, blackcurrant gummies, soy sauce, black pepper, freshly ground cinnamon powder.
Palate: Peaty notes with a touch of icing sugar; upon swallowing, there’s a sensation akin to eating sesame nougat, subtle pine wood, and hints of herbal soup.
Finish: Smoked beef jerky, shredded squid, aged cheddar cheese, dried grapefruit, and tobacco undertones.
